Our flagship store and studio are located in the 12 South neighborhood in Nashville. We are scouting for customer service assistant to help us with our website and in-store customer experience. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to join our awesome team; someone who represents our brand not only in-store, but as a JB brand ambassador outside of work as well. Our team is hard-working, fast-paced, and very detail-oriented; we have a lot of fun together, but we all know when to buckle down and get the work done. If you are passionate about contributing to the growth and success of an Indie business, this might be the place for you!
Computer experience is a must, as is proficiency with web and social platforms. We are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and teach themselves what they might not know. We are upgrading our technology all the time and sometimes you gotta dig in there and figure stuff out. Good grammar and communications skills are essential for this job as you will be communicating with our customers via phone and web chat. You really need to genuinely love working and interacting with people because at JB the customer's experience is everything to us!
Because we are a small business, we have to wear many hats. We are all responsible for keeping the studio looking nice, neat, organized and clean. No job is too small or beneath anybody. We all take out the trash... If you can hang with that, you may just be the one for us!
Minimum Requirements:
Available to work most Saturdays and Sundays and during the holiday season on a rotating basis. We are off on all major holidays.
Have experience helping customers.
Live within a 10 mile radius of the store. . .we need you to be close in case of emergency!
Ability to listen to the needs of a diverse customer base, and offer styling suggestions accordingly
Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines
Attention to detail: because we manufacture our own designs, we rely on our people for excellent quality control
1-2 years of work experience, preferably in retail.
Excellent interpersonal skills and love for working in a team environment. Grumps and drama queens need not apply! We are a small team and we are only looking for genuinely positive people.
